A Little Princess…..
A movie that can always make me cry. I don’t know how I came across it again, but it made me want to youtube movie watch it..if that makes sense. 22 minutes into the movie and I was already tearing up. A movie about a young imaginative girl who lived in India and had to move to NY due to a war her father had to go join. She moves to NY to go to a boarding school where a nasty headmistress basically…mistreats her. Her father passes away in the war and she basically becomes a servant girl to work off her “debt”. I know that while watching this movie (esp. around the end) I’ll start bawling. One of my childhood movies that I would watch with my neighbor. She got the VHS along with the gold locket that the main character’s father gives to her before she he’s off to war. Good childhood movie..who says that happy endings are overrated? =)
